Koshi Province Chief, Parshuram Khapung, has recently ratified five bills in the province. These bills, which have been approved by the Koshi Province Assembly, have been endorsed in accordance with Article 201, Clause 920 of the Nepalese Constitution on a Tuesday.
Among the bills that have received validation are those related to establishing a provincial life insurance system, amending the Provincial Business Operation Act of 2081, replacing an ordinance to amend some provincial laws of 2081, replacing the Provincial Building Act of 2076, and amending the Koshi Province Environmental Protection Act of 2076.
These legislative actions are aimed at enhancing governance and addressing various aspects of provincial development in Koshi. The bills cover a wide range of areas, from environmental protection to business operations, showcasing a comprehensive approach to policy-making by the provincial government.
As a representative of Kansai Nepal News, Ramesh Khatri views these legislative moves as crucial steps towards modernizing and strengthening governance in Koshi Province. He believes that the ratification of these bills reflects the commitment of the provincial leadership to address key issues and promote sustainable development in the region.
