Kathmandu – A Nepali movie named ‘Anjila’ can now be watched for just a hundred rupees starting today. The film showcases the life story of Anjila Tumbapo Subba, the captain of the national women’s football team and a goalkeeper, as revealed by the producer Prem Kumar Shrestha. The film has completed a hundred days of screening, allowing viewers to watch it at a discounted price.

According to Shrestha, achieving a hundred days of screening in the current technological era is a significant milestone. By offering the film at a reduced price of a hundred rupees for 93 days, they have made it accessible to a wider audience. The movie, which revolves around Nepali football and players, being available at such an affordable rate has brought immense joy and satisfaction. This success has not only delighted the audience but has also inspired filmmakers and directors to create more films on the lives of other athletes in the future.

Located in Samakhushi, the QFX cinema hall at City Square Mall is where ‘Anjila’ can be watched for a hundred rupees. The movie, based on the life story of Captain Subba, is directed by Milan Chams. Along with Captain Subba, actors like Dayahang Rai, Sirjana Subba, Vijay Baral, and Maotse Gurung have also portrayed roles in the film.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his opinion on the success of the movie. “The film has been successful, but it has also brought inspiration for those who are eager to watch motivating films. This ‘offer’ has been brought to fulfill the desire of watching such inspirational movies and celebrates the completion of our hundred days,” he stated.

Last year, the movie ‘Anjila’ commenced its screening on Falgun 29 and was able to generate a business of 10 crores in the domestic box office, as per information provided by the distributor Shrestha.
