What Happened When Iran and Israel Declared Ceasefire?

#BreakingNews
Tensions have escalated between Iran and Israel following the announcement of a ceasefire in their conflict. Both countries are accusing each other of violations, with Israel claiming that Iran breached the ceasefire while Iran denies these allegations.

In recent events, President Donald Trump posted on social media early Tuesday morning Nepali time announcing the ceasefire between Iran and Israel. Shortly after this announcement, Israel expressed agreement with the American ceasefire proposal, whereas Iran had previously stated that if Israel stops its attacks, they will do the same.

Reports indicate that Israeli forces identified a missile launched by Iran around 1:15 PM, which was intercepted above northern Israel. Iran has denied any missile strikes, while IDF has stated that Israel will provide a “strong response.”

The conflict had already seen heavy attacks from both sides before the ceasefire was initiated. Iranian state media reported that Israeli missile strikes targeted the capital and other cities, resulting in at least nine deaths, including a nuclear scientist. In Israel, at least four people were killed in the city of Beersheba, with 22 others injured.

In response to the developments, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with Israel, stating, “I feel like one rocket was launched after the start of the ceasefire, and now Israel will not retaliate in the same way. I am not pleased with Israel’s actions after such an agreement.”

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commented, “The ceasefire agreement holds promise for dialogue and diplomacy to resolve conflicts, and Qatar hopes this will lead to meaningful steps in conflict resolution.”

The Foreign Ministry of Qatar also released a statement praising American President Trump’s efforts in the peace process. Meanwhile, Iran’s Health Minister Mohammad Raja Jafarghani reported that over 600 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since June 13. The latest figures show more than 5,000 injuries, with ongoing medical treatment provided.

Iran has experienced a surge in deadly attacks in the past 24 hours, with over 100 fatalities reported. The situation remains tense as both countries navigate the fragile ceasefire agreement. -BBC collaboration
