In a recent development at the Kanchan Gaunpalika-based Haraiya Campus in Rupandehi, the Independent Student Union (SWAVIYU) emerged victorious in the elections held on the multifaceted campus. With a total of 285 votes, candidate Jeevan Kumar Dhawal secured the position of President representing both the Nevi Sangh and the Akhil Krantikari on the joint panel.

The election results also saw Rajesh Yadav from the Nepali Congress party securing 135 votes, according to the official announcement by Ramji Acharya. Manoj Thapa received 272 votes for the Secretary position, while Sandeep Kurmi garnered 141 votes. Similarly, for the Treasurer role, Amrita Gyawali received 270 votes, and Sneha Viswakarma received 140 votes.

Additionally, elected members from the Nevi Sangh – Akhil Krantikari panel include Ashok Thapa, Sumit V.K., Parmashila Yadav, Guddu Loniya, and Ashmi Thapa.

Out of 503 eligible voters on the campus, a total of 424 votes were cast during the election process.
