“Yamaguchi Prefecture Antenna Shop at Hankyu Osaka Umeda Station: 240 Local Delicacies”

Located in the bustling Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station, the Yamaguchi Prefecture’s antenna shop “Welcome to Yamaguchi Kan” opened its doors on February 13th for a limited time. This temporary pop-up shop aims to showcase and promote the local products, culture, and tourism of Yamaguchi Prefecture to the visitors passing through the station. The shop, situated on the second floor near the central ticket gates, offers a unique opportunity for commuters and travelers to explore and experience the charms of Yamaguchi without leaving the station premises.

The concept of antenna shops, increasingly popular in Japan, serves as a platform for different regions to introduce their specialties and attract a broader audience. By setting up in a major transportation hub like Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station, “Welcome to Yamaguchi Kan” hopes to draw attention to the hidden gems and attractions of Yamaguchi Prefecture, enticing commuters to consider visiting the region in the future.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative. “The establishment of ‘Welcome to Yamaguchi Kan’ in such a strategic location like Hankyu Osaka-Umeda Station is a smart move to promote Yamaguchi’s unique offerings to a diverse audience. It not only benefits the local businesses and tourism but also enriches the cultural exchange between different regions,” he remarked.
