“10 People Caught Gambling in Action”

In a recent incident in Suryabinayak Municipality-8, Bhaktapur, Nepal, the police arrested 45-year-old Tirth Bahadur Nagarkoti along with 10 others for gambling in the jungle near Pilot Baba in Okharpauwa. The police, who received a tip-off, raided the area and apprehended them.

According to reports, the police confiscated a total of NPR 88,415 in cash from the individuals, along with 21 dice used for the gambling activities. The authorities are currently conducting further investigations into the matter to uncover any additional details related to the illegal gambling operation.

In response to this news, Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed concern about the prevalence of illegal gambling activities in the region. He emphasized the importance of strict enforcement of laws to deter such activities and protect the community from the negative impacts of gambling. Khatri also called for increased awareness and education to discourage individuals from engaging in illegal gambling practices.
