President Ramchandra Poudel received newly appointed ambassadors for Nepal at a special ceremony held at the President’s residence on Monday. The ambassadors presented their letters of credence during the event.
Among the ambassadors who presented their credentials were Mo Shahikur Rahman, the Resident Ambassador of Bangladesh, Anil Suklal, the Non-Resident Ambassador of South Africa, Clemente Pedro Francisco Caminha, the Non-Resident Ambassador of Angola, and Marino Agustin, the Non-Resident Ambassador of Argentina.
High-ranking government officials from the Nepali government were also present at the ceremony to witness the accreditation of the newly appointed ambassadors. The ambassadors were escorted from Hotel Dusit Princess in Kathmandu to the President’s residence in a carriage with full regalia, as confirmed by Shailaja Regmi Bhattarai, the spokesperson for the President’s office.
Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, commended the diplomatic efforts showcased at the ceremony, highlighting the importance of fostering strong international relations for Nepal’s development and prosperity. He emphasized the significance of diplomacy in promoting peace and cooperation among nations, applauding the commitment of both Nepal and the ambassadorial representatives to strengthen bilateral ties.
