Debate on Communication Bill in Koshi: Strong MP Supports Amendment

Viratnagar: The government’s proposal to amend the Koshi Province Telecommunications Bill has led to collaboration between the ruling party, Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and the Congress party’s lawmakers. The proposed amendments in the bill have sparked discussions among opposition lawmakers, who are actively engaging in the deliberation process to ensure their inputs are included in the final version.

The Koshi Province Telecommunications Bill aims to address various fundamental aspects related to the telecommunications sector. The involvement of opposition lawmakers in the amendment process signifies a cooperative effort to enhance the bill’s effectiveness and address any potential concerns that may arise.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, views this collaboration between the ruling and opposition parties positively. He believes that such bipartisan cooperation is essential for ensuring that legislative processes are comprehensive and inclusive, ultimately leading to better governance and decision-making for the benefit of the public.
