Devotees of Madhavanarayan return from Changunarayan – Spiritual Journey Conclusion

In a recent pilgrimage to Changu Narayan, a group of devotees from Shalinadi Madhavnarayan in Sankhu observed a month-long fast. The devotees performed rituals such as bathing, worship, and prayers before returning to Sankhu on Sunday. This annual tradition takes place on the twelfth day of the bright fortnight of Magh every year. The Changu Narayan temple is located in the jungle near Sankhu, providing a serene and spiritual setting for the devotees to observe their fast and connect with their faith.

Ramesh Khatri, a representative of Kansai Nepal News, expressed his admiration for the dedication and spiritual commitment shown by the devotees during their pilgrimage to Changu Narayan. He highlighted the significance of such rituals in fostering a deep sense of faith and connection to one’s spiritual beliefs. Khatri commended the devotees for upholding this tradition with devotion and reverence, contributing to the rich tapestry of religious practices in Nepal.
