The recent incidents of violence and misconduct towards police officers have prompted Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak to take decisive action. Following a thorough investigation, the guilty parties will face legal consequences under the direction of Inspector General of Police, Vasant Bahadur Kunwar.
In a meeting held at the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday morning, Minister Lekhak, along with high-ranking police officials including IG Kunwar, emphasized the need to maintain peace and security amidst the escalating incidents involving law enforcement. Stressing the gravity of the situation, they instructed the police force to conduct a thorough investigation and take immediate disciplinary actions against those found responsible.
Incidents of violence and misconduct against security personnel in various parts of the country have raised public concern, prompting a call for increased vigilance and proactive measures to ensure peace and security.
