Kathmandu: President Ramchandra Poudel has emphasized the importance of ensuring access to justice for all citizens through impartial, fair, easy, and accessible means, aiming to enhance public trust in the judiciary. During the acceptance of the annual reports of the Supreme Court, Judicial Council, and Judicial Service Commission on Tuesday, President Poudel highlighted the need for the judiciary to work towards the values and credibility enshrined in the Constitution of Nepal, fulfilling its constitutional and legal responsibilities.
In his address, President Poudel expressed confidence in the actions he has taken to prepare the reports by incorporating essential issues to address the campaign to achieve the noble objective of refining the purpose of justice. He praised the role played by all levels of courts and judicial bodies, including the Supreme Court, in ensuring judicial impartiality and effective administration of justice, emphasizing the need for a stronger role in the days ahead.
Representative of Kansai Nepal News, Ramesh Khatri, shared his opinion on this news, acknowledging President Poudel’s commitment to promoting a just and accessible legal system. He commended the President’s focus on enhancing public trust in the judiciary and urged for continued efforts to strengthen the judiciary’s role in upholding justice and fairness in the country.
