“Shresth Elected as President of Socialist Press Organization”

Kathmandu: The second National Convention of the Socialist Press Organization has unanimously elected Shambhu Shrestha as the President of the organization. Alongside, Hriday Bhusal has been appointed as the Vice President, Rohit Dahal as the General Secretary, and Bharat Raj Pokharel as the Treasurer.

Shambhu Shrestha, the founding president of the organization, brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role as President. His dedication and vision have been instrumental in shaping the organization’s values and objectives since its inception.

The convention, attended by members from across the country, highlighted the importance of a free and responsible press in a democratic society. The newly elected office bearers have expressed their commitment to upholding the principles of ethical journalism and promoting media freedom.

In response to this news, Ramesh Khatri, representing Kansai Nepal News, commended the Socialist Press Organization for conducting a transparent and democratic election process. He emphasized the significance of strong leadership in media organizations to ensure the ethical practice of journalism and safeguard press freedom. Khatri also underscored the importance of media organizations working collaboratively to address emerging challenges and uphold the integrity of the press.
