Nepali skilled workers being sent to Japan and the positive regard they hold for the services, facilities, and security for them in Nepal has been highlighted by the Japanese Ambassador to Nepal, Masamidu Toru. During a diplomatic meeting with Minister for Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Gokarna Bista on Tuesday, the Ambassador conveyed his positive observations regarding this matter.

The Ministry spokesperson, Danduraj Paudel, informed that various aspects of the implementation of the bilateral understanding and the execution of the labor agreement between Nepal and Japan were discussed during the meeting held at the Ministry. Minister Bista had emphasized the need to ensure the welfare, facilities, and security of Nepali workers who are working in Japan.

Both sides had engaged in discussions to promptly address the issue related to dispatching skilled workers to Japan as per the demand of the Japanese government. It was reported that discussions were held on both sides to reach a conclusion swiftly.

In the course of the meeting, Japanese Ambassador Toru highlighted the topic of sending Nepali skilled workers to Japan, emphasizing on the services, facilities, and security for the workers. It was also discussed that Japan is considered a safe and attractive destination for Nepali workers, and both parties agreed to continue cooperation based on mutual understanding in the context of sending Nepali workers to Japan in the future.
