Students from Nishinomiya City universities are using videos to promote bicycle helmet use. Approaching one year since helmets became encouraged, these students are taking action to boost safety on the streets.
Collaborating from Kwansei Gakuin University, Kobe Women’s University, and Otsuma University, the students have crafted engaging videos to highlight the importance of helmet use. In one video, a hero rushes to help a cyclist who falls without a helmet, while another showcases students dancing in helmets to upbeat tunes.
“We wanted to create something enjoyable and educational,” said a Kobe Women’s University student. The Nishinomiya Police support these efforts, hoping the videos will prevent accidents and encourage responsible biking.
As the videos prepare for release on platforms like YouTube, they aim to entertain and inspire viewers to prioritize safety by wearing helmets while cycling. These initiatives demonstrate a collaborative approach to fostering a culture of safety and responsibility on the roads.
